JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain end-to-end enterprise grade applications using modern frontend and backend technologies. This role demands strong technical depth across front-end and backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and SDLC practices. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who thrives on solving complex problems, improving scalability, and mentoring others while leveraging technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, C#, Python, java and modern databases including MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL systems. Success in this role is measured by ability to design and deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions across frontend, backend, and data layers while ensuring performance, scalability, and exceptional user experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES

<li>·Design and develop full stack applications using React /Angular (TypeScript) for the UI and using .NET/Java/Node.js for backend APIs.</li>
<li>Design and optimize data models and queries across SQL and NoSQL databases.</li>
<li>Implement cloud-native architectures and develop applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.</li>
<li>Apply security best practices for both front-end and backend systems.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues across the full stack.</li>
<li>Review code, provide constructive feedback, and follow engineering best practices.</li>
<li>Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge-sharing within the team.</li>
<li>Research and adopt emerging technologies to improve system performance and developer efficiency.</li>
<li>Participate in sprint planning, estimations, retrospectives, and architectural reviews.</li>
<li>Drive a culture of quality, automation, and continuous improvement across the engineering organization.</li>

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.</li>
<li>6+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong full stack contributions.</li>
<li>Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.</li>
<li>Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.</li>
<li>Proficiency in React/Angular and TypeScript for modern front-end development</li>
</ul>
COMPETENCIES
<ul>
<li>Strong expertise in one or more of Node.js/C#/Java for backend and API development.</li>
<li>Solid database expertise with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, etc.).</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).</li>
<li>Strong familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless services.</li>
<li>Hands-on experience of SRE principles including observability, monitoring, and reliability automation.</li>
<li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc).</li>
<li>Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation etc).</li>
<li>Deep understanding of application performance tuning, scalability, and security.</li>
<li>Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, xUnit, etc.).</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and guide technical teams.</li>
<li>Frontend: React, TypeScript, modern UI frameworks, accessibility, and performance.</li>
<li>Backend: Node.js APIs/C#/Python/java and microservices architecture.</li>

POSITION OVERVIEWThe Senior Specialist, ECM reports directly to the Supervisor, ECM. This role is responsible for the delivery and support of the enterprise wide OpenText/Documentum Platform product stack. Additionally, this role requires actively working, and aligning solutions, with both IT and non-IT groups throughout Cheniere.&nbsp;RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES<ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li style="background-color: white; color: black; line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;">Support of current Documentum (WebTop, D2) and future Documentum environments will be the primary focus.
