Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: <ul type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal">Organize, lead, and participate in improvement initiatives, projects, and process optimization teams to deliver specific, focused, time bound improvement objectives.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Monitor operations on a daily/weekly basis, reviewing KPI's, operating logs, Distributed Control System (DCS) trends, quality results, and other sources of data to ensure reliable, consistent, and cost-effective operations.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Intervene where appropriate to identify and resolve operating issues.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Design and implementation of new Neches River Terminal processes and/or equipment upgrades.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Manage capital project assignments as necessary to support Neches River Terminal improvements.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Maintain the calculation basis for unit's permits and prepare emission event calculations.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Provide production and process optimization, troubleshooting, data analysis, and technical support to the operations organization.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Develop process standards, operating procedures, diagrams, training materials, and job aids as required to properly document, teach, and manage site operations.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Implement, monitor, and maintain reliability improvement techniques such as predictive and preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, and risk based inspection.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Track variable costs and look for ways to reduce those costs via process optimization.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Ensure compliance with all steps of OSHA 1910.119 / Process Safety Management and DOT regulations.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Satisfactorily perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>  
QualificationsThe successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:<ul type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal">A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering is required..</li><li class="MsoNormal">A minimum of (3) years of experience in a chemical plant environment, or related industry is required.</li><li class="MsoNormal">A minimum of (3) years of experience with production, process, or mechanical troubleshooting and optimization activities is preferred.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) is required.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Working knowledge of reliability improvement techniques such as predictive and preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, risk-based inspections, and total productive maintenance is preferred.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Experience with Process Modeling software, such as Hysys, is preferred.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Must show strong initiative, be self-motivated, work with minimal supervision. The Poly Production Operator will perform all tasks essential in the preparation, storage of finished products and raw materials utilizing reactors, storage tanks, pumps and other equipment specific to Coim USA’s manufacturing units. Primary duties will involve: charging raw materials to the reactor, packaging completed batches and re-packing finish good; obtaining samples and performing basic analysis as water test; shipping finish good and receiving raw material through tank truck and / or railcar. Operate transfer sequences on the SACDA PLC system. Conducting all processing operations in manufacturing ensuring all work is performed in a safe, orderly, and clean fashion.
