Job Summary
Under direct supervision of the Service Manager/Service Lead, the Service Technician will be responsible for learning to install, service and troubleshoot CROFT’s natural gas processing equipment.
 
Primary Duties & Responsibilities • Preform monthly/weekly preventative maintenance on natural gas processing equipment at the wellhead, midstream or gas gathering facilities or downstream locations. • Maintain great rapport with customers, follow operation instructions, troubleshoot breakdowns, maintain supplies and perform preventative maintenance. • Document service, observations and expenses by completing forms, report, logs and records. • Map out routes, operate cranes and forklifts, and safely drive a company vehicle daily. • Keep vehicles and equipment clean and in safe operation with recorded maintenance logs. Complete weekly company service vehicle washes and daily inspections.  • Utilize internal software and technology (Outlook, Microsoft systems, tablets, smartphones, etc.) • Ensure full compliance with company policy's and all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as related to job function.  • Perform job in a safe manner, and ensure a safe workplace, including reporting unsafe work conditions and safety violations.  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Educational/Training/Experience
 
Education:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; OSHA and Safety certifications preferred; ISO 9000/9001/9904 experience and working knowledge preferred. </li>
</ul>
 
License/Certification:
<ul>
<li>Must complete safety and certification training on an annual basis and complete and successfully pass internal modules within 90 days of introductory period of employment. If hired, applicant will be considered a SSE (Short Service Employee) for a minimum of 6 months or until SSE training is completed.</li>
</ul>
 
Experience:
<ul>
<li>No experience is necessary. Service experience in the oil and gas industry preferred. </li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Ability to communicate and respond to questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner; multi-task and remain detailed and organized; maintain confidentiality at all times. </li>
<li>Ability to follow specific instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.</li>
<li>Must have a valid state-issued Driver’s License as required to drive 100% on company business. </li>
<li>Must be at least 21 years old, per DOT requirements to drive across state lines. </li>
<li>Must be available to travel (by vehicle or plane) and be away from permanent residence multiple days on end.</li>
<li>Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.</li>
<li>Must understand the function, proper use, and safety procedures for common hand tools with the ability to select the proper tool for the task at hand.</li>

The Instrument &amp; Electrical Technician, Three Rivers / Berclair Midstream will be based out of Three Rivers, TX or the Goliad Gas Plant in Berclair, TX and is primarily responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of Company gas processing and pipeline assets located in and around the geographic area. The position will calibrate and inspect measurement equipment, conduct routine maintenance, eliminate and report product leaks, seeps, and spills, as well as assist with construction, maintenance and mechanical integrity projects. The position will maintain qualifications and record documentation in accordance with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations to ensure compliance. This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. <li>Performing and providing technical support for installations, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and rotating equipment</li>
<li>Performing planned maintenance checks and calibration and timely submits appropriate reports</li>
<li>Assisting supervisors in changing technology and budget requirements</li>
<li>Maintaining effective spare parts inventory</li>
<li>Assisting in pump tear down/rebuild inspections and new pump installations</li>
<li>Working with Pipeline Integrity and Reliability group for new technologies around rotating equipment</li>
<li>Minimizing downtime and unsafe conditions by performing preventative maintenance</li>
<li>Maintaining mechanical skills by attending training sessions and on-the-job training</li>
<li>Maintaining technical and administrative records, including prints and project reports</li>
<li>Repairing electrical repairs (24 volts up to 4,160 volts)</li>
<li>Troubleshooting control circuits for motors</li>
<li>Responding to emergencies and participate in emergency response</li>
<li>Driving teamwork throughout the area of responsibility</li>
<li>Supervising, directing, and training contract crews</li>
<li>Participating in Safety Action Plans</li>
<li>Completing and maintaining required safety/regulatory training (CBT)</li>
<li>Pursuing cost reduction opportunities</li>
<li>Reading and understanding pump curves</li>
<li>Reading and understanding P&amp;ID's (process and instrumentation diagrams)</li>

This position has a base salary range of $70,200 - $114,400.
