 Job Summary
 
Ensures maximum uptime of production molding machines by diagnosing and addressing quality issues and variations from customer specifications due to molding machines, processes, materials, or operator interactions.
 Job Responsibilities

<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Troubleshoots molding machine malfunctions or bottlenecks that can be corrected by material changes or process adjustments</li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Records the details of machine malfunctions and the appropriate adjustments as required</li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Communicates and verifies necessary raw material adjustments to material handlers to improve production efficiency and accuracy </li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Conducts test runs of process or machine adjustments to ensure proper machine functionality and alignment with quality standards</li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Routinely changes machine inserts to customize product wording or labeling in accordance with customer specifications</li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Notifies a Maintenance Technician of a machine electrical, pneumatic or hydraulic issue or problems that may require a fabricated solution</li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Identifies parts or machines that need new parts or need to be replaced and places orders as necessary</li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies under the guidance of a technical Manager</li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Performs routine analyses and calculations, and recommends changes in equipment, products or test methods</li>
<li class="Bullet1" style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Assists the on-shift supervisor with assigning operators to machines and provides direction to Machine Operator as to machine cycle time and operating multiple machines at a time</li>

<li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Understands and is familiar with developing processes using Decoupled Molding</li>
<li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12.0pt">Familiar with open/close loop process controls</li>
