We are seeking an energetic Night Lab Processor with exceptional attention to detail to enhance our team.

Pay:&nbsp;$18.00 - $20.00 per hour DOE&nbsp;* This position is eligible for night differential pay (10%) *&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Schedule:&nbsp;Monday - Friday, 11:30 PM - 8:00 AM&nbsp;* This position involves working a fast-paced overnight shift *&nbsp;

In this role, you will be responsible for:
<ul>
<li>Sample Processing: Receive and process samples efficiently, ensuring turnaround times; maintain specimen integrity and package samples for referral labs; accurately translate physician orders and diagnoses; verify and manage specimen details and perform data entry; assess specimen adequacy with technical assistance if needed; prepare specimens and perform screening procedures accurately.</li>
<li>Communication and Reporting: Respond to colleague inquiries and manage instrumentation alarms; print and distribute reports.</li>
<li>Operational Duties: Follow daily checklists and ensure timely task completion; adapt to covering shifts and locations as needed; handle additional duties as assigned.</li>
<li>Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and quality assurance practices; ensure HIPAA compliance and follow Medicare rules for ABNs; monitor the work environment for safety issues.</li>
<li>Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service.</li>
<li>
Reliability: Maintaining consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance to ensure continuity of operations and support for our team and patients.

Education &amp; Certification:

High School Diploma or equivalent
</li>
</ul>
Experience:
<ul data-start="219" data-end="528">
<li>Previous laboratory processing experience (preferred, but not required)</li>
<li>Previous experience working overnight shifts is highly preferred</li>

Strong preference for candidates with a consistent employment history and minimal career gaps
</li>
</ul>

Physical Requirements:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds.</li>
<li>High level of staff interaction in close quarters; must hear alarms to ensure timely response to safety needs.</li>
<li>Regular handling of potentially infectious samples, with required protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield).</li>
<li>Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day.</li>
<li>Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed.</li>
</ul>
OSHA Category: This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues, with Hepatitis-B vaccination offered to all performing these duties.
