Job Summary
Our Project Engineers are responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing on-site construction activities, ensuring every detail meets our high standards of quality and safety.
 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
<ul style="margin-top:0in" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal">Manage project controls to ensure compliance with contracts, budgets, schedules, and job costing.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely, on-budget completion.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Support monthly forecasting, cost tracking, and preparation of client pay estimates.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Oversee material deliveries for quality, quantity, and contract compliance.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Represent the company in project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Collaborate with field personnel to ensure efficient and aligned project execution.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Perform other duties as assigned.</li><li class="MsoNormal"> </li></ul>

Required Qualifications
<ul style="margin-top:0in" type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal">Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction engineering, field support, or a related role.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration (Accounting, Finance, or Management), or a related field — or equivalent relevant job experience.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact clearly and effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and familiarity with construction-specific software platforms.</li><li class="MsoNormal">Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.</li></ul>

 <h2>Duties</h2>Prepares a wjde variety of recurring corre!:>pondence, internal reports, and other documents frorn information obtained from the staff; files, and other sources; reviews and finalizes documents prepared by others. Monitors and manages the reception area. Monitors from work station through closed-circuit surveillance cameras all activities of children and staff while in classrooms and center, and notes any discrepancies to the CDC Director IA W Child Abuse procedures. Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization. Uses varied functions of multiple office automation software to create, format, modify, edit, and print a variety of letters, reports, memos, and other textual documents. Assists in the classrooms during periods of staff shortages and staff breaks as needed. Assists in the control of facilities, equipment and supplies. Accepts applications for fulltime and hourly care of children. Assists in developing plans, creating schedules, and monitoring USDA program for the Child Development Center.<h2>Qualifications</h2>In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-04, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes specialized experience includes working in a child development center or program which provided knowledge of child care programs and procedures such as enrollment, collecting fees, and monitoring staff/child ratios; using word processing software to create, retrieve, and print forms, memos and letters, using database or spreadsheet software to enter, calculate, and retrieve data for reports, and using graphics software to provide graphs and charts for presentations; and performing office functions such as creating various routine correspondence and reports, maintaining files, receiving telephone calls and visitors, reviewing and processing incoming mail, maintaining time and attendance information and ordering office supplies. OR EDUCATION: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school. NOTE: You must submit a copy of transcripts. OR COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position, only education in excess of the first 60 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.
