        <div data-bind="html: Job.Requirements"><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Requirements</strong></p><p>· Secret Security Clearance: active or eligibility to obtain and maintain</p><p>· Ability to operate in classified and unclassified environments, including NIPRNet systems</p><p>· Strong written and verbal communication skills for military and civilian interaction</p><p>· Willingness to travel up to 10% for in-person training and operational support</p><p>· Demonstrated ability to learn new tools, workflows, and operational contexts</p><p>· Team-oriented and capable of collaborating with diverse Army and contractor personnel</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p>· Assist with dashboard configuration, updates, and reuse</p><p>· Support preparation of training materials and documentation</p><p>· Assist with data validation, quality checks, and sustainment artifacts</p><p>· Support analytics handoff and institutional adoption efforts</p><p>· Progressively develop Army Vantage skills over the period of performance</p><p>· Assist in preparation of training environments, datasets, and example dashboards</p><p>· Support logistics and execution of in-person and virtual training events</p><p>· Help develop and update training documentation, job aids, and reference materials</p><p>· Assist instructors during training sessions (e.g., troubleshooting, student support, setup/teardown)</p><p>· Perform data validation and quality checks on training datasets and dashboards</p><p>· Capture training feedback and assist in documenting lessons learned and AAR inputs</p><p>· Support reuse and sustainment of training materials and analytics products</p><p>· Progressively take on limited instructional roles, such as walkthroughs or demonstrations, as skills mature</p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree (or progress toward degree) in technical, analytical, or quantitative field</p><p>· 0–2 years of relevant experience (including internships, labs, or academic projects)</p><p>· Foundational knowledge of Python or SQL</p><p>· Understanding of basic data analysis and visualization concepts</p><p>· Demonstrated ability to learn new platforms and tools</p><p>· Strong attention to detail and documentation skills</p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><p>· Exposure to analytics platforms, dashboards, or scripting tools</p><p>· Coursework in statistics, data science, or operations research</p><p>· Interest in operational analytics and decision support</p><p>· Prior military or government exposure (not required)</p></div>

<p>The Data Engineering Intern will work directly with the Business Intelligence team to support the development and maintenance of automated data pipelines, data infrastructure, and analytics workflows. This is a hands-on role. The intern will contribute to real production work alongside the team, gaining practical experience with cloud-based data engineering tools including Azure Databricks and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2. This internship is well-suited for a student with foundational Python and SQL skills who wants to grow in data engineering and sees a career path in building the systems that power business intelligence and AI.</p>

<p>The intern in this role will use AI-assisted coding tools including Claude Code and Cursor as part of their standard development workflow and will have visibility into the team's broader AI initiatives. We are looking for someone who has already used AI tools in a meaningful way and is eager to go further. Familiarity with prompt engineering or LLM-based workflows is a plus.</p>

<li>Assist in building and maintaining automated data pipelines in Azure Databricks</li>
<li>Write and optimize SQL queries against operational data sources</li>
<li>Support ingestion pipeline development for source systems including internal databases and APIs</li>
<li>Help organize and structure data in Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 following established patterns</li>
<li>Contribute to notebook development, job scheduling, and pipeline testing in Databricks</li>
<li>Document pipeline logic, data flows, and process runbooks</li>
<li>Assist in evaluating and integrating AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor) into the team's development workflow</li>
<li>Explore and research emerging data engineering and AI tools as directed by the Manager</li>

<li>Foundational SQL skills — able to write basic to intermediate queries against relational databases</li>
