Experienced / Senior Ground Loads EngineerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Defense, Space &amp; Security (BDS) organization is seeking an Experienced / Senior Ground Loads Engineer to support Air Dominance programs in St. Louis, Missouri. As a member of the BDS Air Dominance Loads &amp; Dynamics (L&amp;D) Capability Team, you will be part of a core engineering team directly supporting production and development programs including F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, MQ-25, and proprietary programs. The L&amp;D team is looking for individuals with experience ground loads. Position commensurate with experience. Position Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead in developing air vehicle design criteria for ground loads</li><li>Collaborate with the airframe &amp; subsystems design and analysis engineers to generate integrated aerodynamic, structural, and landing gear models for flight vehicle analysis consistent with a Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment</li><li>Perform ground loads analyses (ground handling, taxi, takeoff &amp; landing, etc.) to support air vehicle design and stores integration</li><li>Define allowable flight envelopes and operational limits</li><li>Develop flight and ground test plans</li><li>Create finite element and multi-body dynamics models and correlates to test results</li><li>Execute ground and flight test programs by the development of test requirements, providing data for pre-test analysis, monitoring testing, data analysis and documenting results, in order to support design and verification of vehicle and components</li><li>Review and approve airframe and subsystems hardware packages for airworthiness and to ensure the air vehicle meets the service environment</li><li>Provide data to support the definition and documentation of structural design requirements for the service life of the product, to ensure company, customer and regulatory requirements are met</li><li>Present engineering to management and customers during program level reviews and other technical meetings</li></ul>Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience)<ul><li>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement</li><li>5 or more years&#39; related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience</li><li>This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
