JOB DESCRIPTION:Opportunity to work with Software Engineers on any of the following tasks:
<ul>
<li>Investigate software bug reports, change requests.</li>
<li>Design, code, modify, debug, test and document software.</li>
<li>Author documents (Design, Interface control, Functional, etc...)</li>
<li>Provide task breakdown and effort estimates.</li>
<li>Unit tests - Design, document, execute and result recording.</li>
<li>Integration tests - Design, document, execute and result recording.</li>
<li>Report issues including timely escalation.</li>
<li>Use software configuration management (SCM) tools.</li>
<li>Work under supervision/guidance of other Systems Engineers, Project Managers, Customer support, Test Engineers and Software Engineers</li>
<li>Perform any other duties assigned by the management.</li>
</ul>
 
Required Skills:
<ul>
<li>Scripting (e.g. Python), C/C++</li>
<li>Debugging</li>
<li>Familiar with software requirements and design</li>
<li>UNIX/Linux, QNX, Windows</li>
<li>Familiarity with OOAD</li>

Ross Video&rsquo;s Manufacturing Systems team is driving the digital transformation of our manufacturing operations. Our goal is to simplify decisions, reduce waste, and unlock new levels of efficiency through data and software. We&rsquo;re looking for builders who want to work in manufacturing and can turn ideas into supported tools.&nbsp;You&rsquo;ll spend your time both at a computer and on the factory floor: learning how production works, listening to real users, and helping create tools that drive efficiency, and insight. Some of what you build will talk to machines, some to databases, and some to people.&nbsp;This is a technical role, but it&rsquo;s also collaborative.
