What you'll be doing:

<li>Champion the building and management of complex SQL databases using Microsoft SQL Server and other relational systems, ensuring top performance, security, and reliability.</li>
<li>Lead cross-functional collaborations to deliver impactful data solutions, translating business requirements into effective data strategies.</li>
<li>Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and valuable insights that inform strategic business decisions.</li>
<li>Monitor, optimize, and enhance data pipelines and warehouse performance to maximize data accuracy and availability.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, ETL processes, and data flows to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.</li>

What we are seeking:

<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.</li>
<li>3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Proficiency in SSIS, SSAS, SQL Server, and Azure.</li>
<li>Strong SQL programming skills with expertise in developing complex queries and stored procedures.</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server, with experience in Data Warehouse concepts.</li>
<li>Ability to design efficient database schemas, optimize query performance, and interpret complex datasets with precision.</li>
<li>Familiar with core data engineering concepts: orchestration, idempotency, ETL/ELT.</li>
<li>Experience working with Git repositories.</li>
<li>Proficient in Python.</li>
<li>Experience with dbt and Snowflake.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.</li>
