We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in the metal building industry to join our team. The Sales Engineer serves as a technical advisor to Sales and customers. This role is responsible for translating customer needs into technically sound, competitive metal building solutions while supporting sales strategy, pricing discipline, and project feasibility. <li>Ability to build an estimate without detailed plans and specifications, conceptual estimating.</li>
<li>Lead multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction phase through conceptual and final estimate.</li>
<li>Compare and analyze competitive subcontractor and supplier bids.</li>
<li>Evaluate and maintain historical cost database(s).</li>
<li>Develop conceptual Cost Models to assist owners and architects with preliminary planning.</li>
<li>Independently develop accurate detailed estimates, including self-perform work.</li>

<li>Develop initial schematic schedule/timeline for project duration.</li>

Estimate projects from conceptual to detailed levels; analyze bids; maintain cost databases; communicate with owners and subcontractors; proficient in estimating software.

Position Summary:
Norfolk Crush is a facility that processes 110k bushels of soybeans daily into soybean oil, soybean meal, and soy hull pellets. The Extraction Operator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring assigned equipment, taking, and analyzing samples, making process adjustments to maintain daily operating parameters, and maintaining housekeeping and security.
Duties & Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform all duties in accordance with OSHA, company safety, and environmental regulations, including wearing appropriate PPE as necessary.</li>
<li>Conduct continuous inspections of key process points, make necessary machinery and equipment adjustments, identify problems on equipment, and continually monitor equipment.</li>
<li>Monitor and adjust operation using computerized and controlled systems to meet department requirements.</li>
<li>Participate in projects intended to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate logs of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, and utility consumption on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Perform the necessary safety inspections to maintain the equipment in safe and efficient operation condition.</li>
<li>Coordinate work functions with fellow prep and extraction employees and other departments.</li>
