Applicants must be&nbsp;authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.<h3>Responsibilities</h3><div><ul><li>Design, develop, and optimize high‑quality software applications using advanced programming languages and frameworks to meet complex business requirements, leveraging Microsoft Azure cloud services and architectures.</li><li>Collaborate closely with engineers, stakeholders, and cross‑functional partners to gather and analyze requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose innovative, scalable solutions across Azure‑based platforms.</li><li>Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable code that adheres to industry best practices and organizational standards, including cloud‑native and Azure Well‑Architected Framework principles.</li><li>Apply advanced data structures and algorithms to optimize application performance, scalability, and overall user experience, including solutions built on Azure data engineering and analytics platforms.</li><li>Design, implement, and optimize Azure‑based components such as data pipelines, analytics workflows, and distributed services to support business insights and operational efficiency.</li><li>Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application and cloud‑related issues spanning functionality, performance, security, reliability, and defects, driving continuous system and platform improvements.</li><li>Conduct and participate in advanced code reviews, providing constructive feedback and sharing technical expertise related to software engineering, Azure architecture, and data solutions to ensure a high‑quality codebase.</li><li>Lead small to mid‑scale projects and technical initiatives involving Azure technologies, fostering strong working relationships with stakeholders, team members, and subject‑matter experts to drive successful outcomes.</li><li>Contribute to the development, documentation, and adherence to application, cloud architecture, and software development engineering policies, standards, and procedures.</li><li>Continuously learn and adapt through individual and team experiences, staying current with Azure services, cloud best practices, and emerging technologies while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.</li></ul></div><h3>Qualifications</h3><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.</li><li>5–7 years of experience in application or software development engineering, delivering production‑grade solutions in complex environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of the assigned business domain, with the ability to translate business needs and objectives into effective technical solutions.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in software development principles, design patterns, methodologies (including Agile), and version control systems.</li><li>Expertise in programming languages and tools such as SQL, Python, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS, along with strong experience using modern frameworks and libraries.</li><li>Hands‑on experience designing and implementing scalable, cloud‑native solutions within Microsoft Azure, including familiarity with Azure compute, storage, data, and analytics services.</li><li>Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases, and web technologies, with demonstrated ability to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability.</li><li>Experience with software testing, quality assurance practices, and performance tuning across the software development lifecycle.</li><li>Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical and system issues.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience leading projects or technical initiatives, mentoring team members, and contributing to the development of engineering standards, policies, and best practices.</li><li>Familiarity with customer support tools, ticketing systems, and knowledge‑base platforms to support effective issue resolution and continuous improvement.</li></ul>&nbsp;Additional InformationHours:&nbsp;<ul><li>Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM</li></ul>&nbsp;Location:&nbsp;<ul><li>820 Follin Lane, Vienna, VA 22180&nbsp;</li><li>5510 Heritage Oaks Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526&nbsp;</li><li>141 Security Drive, Winchester, VA 22602</li></ul></div><h2>Company</h2><div>
