SpaceX is seeking an experienced, driven Bastrop Campus Planning Manager to own strategic site planning and growth for our expanding the Bastrop campus. This role will lead the site's long-term infrastructure strategy as we scale production operations and facilities. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, experience managing technical requirements across large-scale programs, and a proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Own and maintain the master utility and facility sheet, managing inputs from stakeholders, challenging requirements, and ensuring accuracy and alignment with site needs.</li>
<li>Develop and manage the master site plan, forecasting many years ahead to proactively address growth requirements and infrastructure demands.</li>
<li>Drive high-level land planning and usage strategies to optimize campus expansion and efficiency.</li>
<li>Build and maintain relationships with local government officials, landowners, and key stakeholders to identify and secure partnerships as needed.</li>
<li>Partner closely with the Government Affairs team to expedite regulatory approvals and remove blockers.</li>
<li>Cultivate strong, collaborative partnerships with construction, operations, and site leadership teams to align on priorities and execution.</li>
<li>Lead and project manage utility expansions over time, from planning through implementation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.</li>
</ul>
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Urban Planning.</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in site planning, facilities management, or infrastructure project management.</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>Proven track record in long-term planning, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory navigation.</li>
<li>Strong project management skills, with experience using tools like MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, or similar.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.</li>
<li>Experience in high-growth industrial sites, utilities expansion, or campus development.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Texas land use regulations, permitting processes, and local government dynamics.</li>
<li>Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, Master's in Engineering/Planning) or PMP certification.</li>
<li>Proficiency in GIS software, AutoCAD, or site modeling tools.</li>

We are looking for a highly capable Sr. Product Development Manager to own the end-to-end execution of new Starlink hardware products. This is a critical new role within the Starlink Product Hardware Development organization focused on bridging the gap between engineering teams and successful product launches.
You will be the single person responsible for the full execution of new consumer electronics programs — from concept through prototype development, de-risking, mass production ramp, and worldwide launch. You will work directly with engineering teams (electrical, RF, software, mechanical, and compliance) as well as our Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to drive programs to completion on schedule and within cost targets.&nbsp;This position reports directly to the Starlink leadership with significant autonomy. There is flexibility to shape the role toward deeper technical involvement or product definition work as the needs of the organization evolve.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Own complete program execution for new Starlink consumer hardware products from initial concept through mass production and global sales launch</li>
<li>Drive schedule, cost, and performance targets across all functional teams</li>
<li>Lead prototype development, de-risking activities, and risk mitigation efforts</li>
<li>Act as the primary integrator and single point of accountability across multiple engineering disciplines (electrical, RF, software, mechanical, compliance)</li>
<li>Work directly with Contract Manufacturers to ensure smooth transition from engineering prototypes to high-volume production</li>
<li>Establish and maintain clear program visibility, including status reporting, issue tracking, and recovery plans when needed</li>
<li>Identify and resolve cross-functional blockers quickly</li>
<li>Continuously improve product development and NPI processes for consumer electronics hardware</li>
</ul>
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or other engineering/STEM discipline</li>
<li>3+ years of professional experience with hardware design/development or electronics test engineering</li>
<li>7+ years of experience in technical program management, product development, or NPI for consumer electronics, wireless hardware, or similar high-volume products</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated success taking complex hardware products from concept through mass production and global launch</li>
<li>Strong technical aptitude and ability to engage deeply with electrical, RF, mechanical, and software engineers</li>
<li>Experience with satellite communication hardware, wireless/RF products, or complex antenna systems</li>
<li>Experience working directly with contract manufacturers in Asia or equivalent high-volume production environments</li>
<li>Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills</li>

<li>Previous experience at a high-growth hardware company or in the consumer electronics space</li>
<li>Strong background in risk management, schedule compression, and cost optimization</li>
