Are you passionate about supporting youth and making a lasting impact in your community? Family Solutions is currently hiring On-Call Direct Care Counselors to support our Medford residential home serving at-risk female youth aged 12–17.
These are part-time, non-benefited roles with flexible scheduling options, including day, swing, overnight (NOC), weekdays, weekends, and holidays. A shift differential is available for swing and overnight positions.
About the Program
Our residential setting provides 24/7 behavioral rehabilitation services for up to 8 youths. As a On-Call Direct Care Counselor, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and structured environment where youth can grow, heal, and thrive.
What You'll Do
- Provide 24/7 supervision and support for youth in the program
- Facilitate life skills and therapeutic groups
- Assist with meal preparation and daily living activities
- Engage youth in recreational activities, structured play, and community outings
- Respond to and de-escalate crisis situations, including the use of physical restraint when necessary (training provided and required)
Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking team-oriented, energetic, and compassionate individuals with a strong desire to help at-risk youth succeed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (in any field) or equivalent of 4 years of experience, including experience working with youth
- Must meet OAR requirements for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA)
- Physically able to perform crisis interventions, including restraints (training provided)
- Ability to pass a DHS background check, Medicaid fraud check, and have a valid driver’s license, at least 4 years of driving experience, and a clean driving record
