Position Summary:


We are seeking a dedicated Program Support Assistant to support the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program temporarily. This position will assist the Housing Specialist (Interim Housing Manager) with essential daily operations to ensure continued productivity and service delivery for nearly 400 program participants during this transitional period. The selected individual will perform various administrative and field-related duties in support of the HCV program and contribute to maintaining compliance with Federal, State, and Local housing regulations. This temporary full-time role, not to exceed 180 days, will be evaluated periodically based on performance and budget availability.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day program functions, including client intake, eligibility verification, and housing search support.
  • Maintain consistent communication with tenants, landlords, and partnering agencies.
  • Support documentation and processing of rent determinations, logs, and regulatory reports.
  • Respond to inquiries and address concerns from program participants with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate on process improvements and ensure accurate record management per HUD and agency policies.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements
