ABOUT THIS POSITION
The baker performs a variety of job responsibilities relating to preparing, baking and wrapping food in accordance with the daily menu and recipe standards. There are opportunities to learn culinary skills to advance your career. We are a supportive team that values and respects each other. The ideal candidate enjoys working with students and educators and has a superior customer service orientation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare and bake menu items following recipes and guidance from the Chef and Genuine Foods standards
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
Assist with prepping, baking, packaging, and organizing baked goods for service or delivery
Coordinate with team members to ensure products are ready on time
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
Keep baking and storage areas stocked and orderly
Support teammates and assist with additional kitchen or cleaning duties as needed
Contribute positively to a collaborative, service-focused kitchen culture
