Job Description
Echo Lake Country Club is seeking polished, professional bartenders to provide exceptional beverage service in a refined private club environment. Bartenders must balance speed, accuracy, and hospitality while upholding the highest standards of professionalism, appearance, and communication. 

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and consistent beverage service to Members. 
  • Greet Members professionally and address them by their formal name at all times. 
  • Prepare cocktails, wine, and beer strictly according to Club-approved recipes and pour standards. 
  • Maintain complete and detailed menu knowledge, including: 
  • Full wine-by-the-glass program, including producers, vintages, and tasting notes. 
  • All house and specialty cocktails and recipes as instructed. 
  • Full food menu knowledge for lunch, dinner, midday service, and any daily or special menus. 
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with servers, kitchen staff, and management to support smooth service. 
  • Upsell beverages and make confident, knowledgeable recommendations to enhance the Member experience. 
  • Maintain responsibility for bar operations, including inventory management, keg room, liquor room, and daily bar readiness. 
  • Monitor draft systems, CO₂ levels, and keg status; rotate and restock product as needed. 
  • Ensure all beverages are properly rung through the POS or tracked for Member and banquet billing. 
  • Maintain a spotless, organized, and sanitary bar at all times. 
  • Lead by example and support front-of-house staff during service. 
  • Handle Member concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when appropriate. 

Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 5 years of hospitality or private country club experience. 
  • Minimum 2 years of professional bartending experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and craft cocktail fundamentals. 
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining poise and professionalism. 
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. 
  • Open availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 
 
Compensation & Benefits: 
  • Hourly Wage: $18–$24 per hour (flexible based on experience).
