Proof of the Pudding is looking for team members who will be responsible for supervising food service operations at a variety of off-site catering events. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and comfortable leading teams in fast-paced event environments. We are offering competitive pay and on-the-job training while working at diverse and unique event locations throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with new team members event-to-event to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage the personnel in one or multiple food service areas ensuring hot food is hot, cold beverages are cold, and speed of service standards are met.
- Delegate tasks in an upbeat and courteous manner. Follow up with team members and coach them on-the-fly while understanding there is not a one-size-fits-all method.
- Perform pre- and post-event responsibilities with team members.
- Oversee food operations while practicing and abiding by local and state food safety laws.
- Ensure completion of cleaning & sanitizing checklists, time-temperature logs, inventory counts, cash management, and other operational functions.
