Job Summary:
The Sr. A&T Production Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring that assembly and test operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This position is responsible for executing, coordinating, and optimizing production plans for assembly and test, materials, and customer demand. The ideal candidate thrives in a fastpaced environment, excels at crossfunctional communication, and brings deep experience in planning within a highmix manufacturing setting.
What you will do:
- Works with management to organize schedule changes due to backlogs, design changes, and material or labor shortages. Tracks releases of work orders for production based on production schedules and escalates shortages through the tier process.
- Plan, schedule, release, and control production orders based on MRP time-phased requirements. MRP time-phased requirements provide the lead-time offset, quantity, and dates to meet customer demand. The planning of production is to be performed in line with inventory management goals.
- Monitor workinprogress (WIP) and adjust schedules proactively to address bottlenecks, delays, or priority changes.
- Communicate production schedule with production departments. Clarify any open questions regarding the schedule.
- Identify inefficiencies in planning processes and propose improvements to enhance throughput and reduce cycle time.
- Participate in daily planning meetings to review previous day’s results and discuss current/future production.
- Provide regular updates to leadership on production status, risks, and recovery plans.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as schedule adherence, throughput, and capacity utilization.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations management, Logistic, Supply Chain or related field with 3 plus years of experience in manufacturing or aerospace is required. At least 2 years Advanced Production Planning and scheduling experience is preferred. Experience using Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MRP required. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting demands. Ability to analyze and interpret data sets and strong organizational skills preferred.

Vision: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including visual examination of manufactured parts and reading information from printed sources and computer screens.
Other: May require frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds unassisted, including assisting co-workers when required. Adequate physical ability including sufficient manual dexterity to perform the requisite manufacturing duties. Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting and sitting, with some heavy lifting, pushing and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
