Position Title: Software Engineer Trainee
Department: Digital Payments Development
Job Type: Intern
Hours: 4 hours per day (10am – 2pm) + additional 4 hours self paced.
Location: Puerto Vallarta office
Time frame: 3 months
Overview:
The Software Engineer Trainee will be part of our Development Department. With coaching and direction from the team you will have a chance to:
- Learn theory of software development and apply it at your work
- Develop software applications: frontend, backend, DB.
- Work on different steps of SDLC: development, code review, bug fixing
- Communicate with multi-national multi-cultural teams (primarily English)
- Learn how to work with different tools, such as Jira, Rider, Gitlab, MS SQL, Team City, Postman, SonarCube, K6 and etc.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Effective organization and attention to details
- Effective oral and written communication in English
- Willingness to invest your time in learning and self-education
- Curiosity and proactivity
- Coding skills: PHP 8, MySql or SQL Server, JavaScript
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technologies
