Job Description

Hadco Construction is seeking an experienced Trackhoe Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a track hoe on various excavation projects while supporting crews in completing work on time and to standard.



What You’ll Do




  • Operate trackhoe to effectively complete all assigned jobs within designated time limits

  • Prepare daily electronic timecards for projects, including multiple tasks, machines, and employees, itemized for proper billing

  • Identify hazards associated with task assignments and seek clarification when needed

  • Maintain clean and safe work areas (remove debris, trash, snow, and ice as required)

  • Direct laborers and other employees to complete tasks within specified time limits

  • Follow OSHA guidelines and lockout/tagout procedures

  • Comply with all company safety policies, practices, and procedures; report unsafe activities to supervisors and safety managers



What We’re Looking For




  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a track hoe

  • Basement digging experience preferred

  • Hardworking, dependable, and safety-conscious

  • Ability to lift, carry, and transfer 50 lbs. or more continuously

  • Must be at least 18 years old with valid documentation to work in the U.S.

  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen



Physical Demands & Working Conditions




  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and movement of 50+ lbs.

  • Regular climbing, kneeling, crouching, and operation of heavy equipment

  • Outdoor work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and noise

  • Exposure to typical construction site hazards, including moving machinery and uneven ground
