SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the Sr. Organizational Development Specialist will consult with client groups to identify training needs and recommend solutions that support the firm’s strategic initiatives. The Sr. OD Specialist will also serve as a team member on the performance management process, 360 reviews, succession planning initiatives, organizational realignments and various learning and development initiatives including the design and development of hard and soft skills training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- In partnership with various departments, directs the needs assessment for training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
- Manage and facilitate the annual performance management cycle and events. Facilitate refresher trainings as necessary.
- Support in design, facilitation and sustainment of Firm-wide talent initiatives, including the summer Internship program, leadership development and other projects as they arise.
- Research best practices and drive implementation of firm wide succession planning program.
- Act as a Regional Engagement Partner for the Voice of the Employee engagement process.
- Partner with Learning Team to design and develop targeted learning interventions using appropriate mediums such as classroom training, e-learning, self-help tools, exercises, and other learning materials for leaders and associates.
- Selects appropriate instructional modality for audience and material.
- Maintain records and statistical reports to evaluate training initiatives.
- Coordinate and deliver training workshops/seminars, instructor led training and “train-the-trainer”.
- Research Talent Management and Organizational Development industry trends to stay abreast of best practices.
- Deliver 360 results to leaders and assist in action planning.
- Proofread and edit own work and work of others to improve quality, readability, consistency, and effectiveness of training materials.

- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing including proofreading and editing.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel), Power Point and authoring tools.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
BA/BS required, preferably in Organizational Development, Adult Learning, or Human Resources.
5+ years of experience in a Talent Management / Organizational Development role in a multi-location environment.
Experience in leadership development, succession planning (360, 9 Box, Strategic Workforce) strongly desired.
Project Management experience preferred.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) Certification preferred.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional travel required, up to 25%
