Marigolds and Onions provides customers across the GTA with a comprehensive catering and event production experience. From daily corporate deliveries to large-scale events, our commitment to service and quality is unmatched. We are currently seeking a Dishwasher to support our culinary operations team. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment. Dishwashers play a key part in the success of our service by ensuring all dishes, equipment, and kitchen areas meet food safety and cleanliness standards. This position is ideal for someone looking to begin their career in the culinary or hospitality field.



Schedule




  • Monday to Wednesday


    • 5:00–5:30 PM start to approximately 12:30 AM

    • (Times may vary based on operational needs)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities




  • Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans

  • Operate dish machines according to company and manufacturer specifications

  • Use proper detergent and sanitizer measurements

  • Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at the end of each shift

  • Restock clean kitchenware and equipment to designated storage areas

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish room and storage spaces

  • Remove garbage and recycling throughout the shift

  • Assist with general kitchen and facility cleaning as needed

  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and replenish supplies

  • Maintain cleanliness of office and common areas

  • Support additional tasks as directed by the Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager

  • Lock up the building at the end of the shift when required
