Responsibilities:

This is the company's 4th level of geology expertise/specialization. Provides geological, petrophysical and geophysical support functions and performs property studies that when executed leads to the enhancement of oil & gas production of the company's reserve base

� Originates and generates capital investment projects including the Company�s current underdeveloped positions. Evaluates deeper and shallower potential underlying the Company�s producing properties and recommends, drills and develops those reservoirs which economically justify such investments.

� Evaluates outside operated proposals and monitors offset exploration activity as it affects Company leaseholds. Collaborates in the preparation of A.F.E.�s, annual capital budget and reserve report projects.

� Serves as a staff advisor to other members of the Reservoir department in regard to basin geology, structural style, depositional environments, etc., requiring a more diversified and complete knowledge and experience level.

� Makes proper recommendations concerning the Company�s leasehold position with regard to renewals and rentals, taking new leases, dropping acreage, farming out, and maintaining the HBP status of all economic or potentially economic producing acreage.

� Supervises and/or monitors field data acquisition concerning geological, geophysical, and other related functions.

� Maintains an awareness of evolving industry standards and emerging technologies as they apply to maximizing the economic recovery of the Company�s oil and gas properties.

� Provides mentorship of less experienced geologists in the department.

Qualifications:

� Unconventional Reservoirs - candidate has generated prospects, created geological drilling prognoses and has significant experience managing the geo-steering of horizontal and/or high-angle deviated wells. Experience in southern Oklahoma is a plus.

� Conventional Field Development � the preferred candidate also has experience generating reserve-adding capital projects in conventional reservoirs, especially in mature waterfloods.

� Has led the geoscience review of operated and non-operated capital projects and prepared/presented for approval

� Geologic skillset includes:

- Creating geologic prognoses

- Geo-steering

- Advanced mapping skills

- Petrophysical (e.g. formation evaluation using well logs)

- Basic seismic interpretation

� Basic software/database packages:

- Petra

- StarSteer

- IHS/Enverus/Dwights databases

- Tableau is a plus

� BS in Geology with an MS in Geology preferred.

� Typically requires 10+ years of geology experience.

Physical Requirements

Required to temporarily move and handle heavy boxes to their office from the file room. These boxes contain large amounts of field & well files for their technical field study review.
