About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, organized Project Manager to work alongside our on-site Project Manager in keeping construction projects on track. You'll be the remote backbone of our operations, managing documentation, tracking productivity, coordinating logistics, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks across multiple active projects. If you know construction, love bringing order to chaos, and thrive when juggling multiple moving parts, this role is built for you.

Core Responsibilities

Project Tracking & Monitoring

  • Track progress, timelines, and productivity across multiple active construction projects

  • Monitor project milestones and flag delays or bottlenecks to the on-site PM

  • Maintain up-to-date project schedules and ensure deadlines are being met

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and organize project documentation, including contracts, permits, RFIs, and submittals

  • Generate progress reports and productivity summaries for clients, contractors, and leadership

  • Ensure all project files are complete, accurate, and easily accessible

Logistics & Coordination

  • Coordinate scheduling between subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams

  • Track material deliveries, equipment needs, and resource allocation

  • Communicate with vendors and project owners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Support the on-site PM with meeting preparation, agendas, and follow-up action items

  • Manage project-related communications across email and project management platforms

  • Keep internal systems and databases organized and current

Multi-Project Management

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously without losing accuracy or attention to detail

  • Prioritize tasks effectively based on project urgency and deadlines

  • Identify risks early and escalate issues to the on-site PM and project leads before they become problems

Candidate Qualifications

Must-Haves

  • 3–5 years of experience in project management or construction coordination

  • Solid understanding of construction processes, terminology, and project lifecycles

  • Strong documentation and reporting skills

  • Experience with project management tools (Procore, Buildertrend, Asana, or similar)

  • Highly organized with sharp attention to detail

  • Clear and professional communicator, written and verbal

Good to Haves

  • Background working directly with or supporting an on-site Project Manager

  • Familiarity with construction scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)

  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, or field teams remotely
