The Busser is responsible for providing the guest with a positive dining experience through excellent organization skills, professional and positive manner while assisting other team members maintain, clear and reset tables.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent guest service according to expectations outlined in the training manual § Maintain, clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Assist with delivery of bread and water service
- Pre-bus and maintains tables, consistently throughout shift
- Stock and maintain side stations
- Stocks and maintain clean glassware, flatware and work areas throughout the restaurant
- Stock and maintain linen pars and levels
- Respond to guest requests in a clear and polite manner
- Complete daily and weekly side work on a consistent and thorough basis
- Assist other team members as necessary
- Stock and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the management team
- Keep management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other team members
- Follow all company policies as outlined in company handbook
Accountabilities:
- Addresses all guests in a manner consistent with company standards in providing quality product and service
- Takes all actions with the guest’s best interest in mind, to build new business and avoid guest complaints
- Adheres to all Busser expectations as defined in the training manual at 100%
Requirements
- Read, understand and speak English. Able to communicate clearly and concisely § Able to stand for an eight-hour shift
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to reach above head and bend to put items on the floor or low shelves
- Able to climb stairs and ladders
- Able to repetitively lift glass racks, bus buckets and other items § Able to work as part of a team for the benefit of the guest
- Able to work at a consistently fast pace in a loud environment
