What To Expect
- Always attentive to guests and team
- Share your thorough knowledge of the food and beverage menu to answer all questions from guests and the team
- Engage with guests and be able to recommend cocktails and suggest alternatives
- Take food and beverage orders, paying close attention to special requests and dietary restrictions
- Serve food, wine, cocktails, and beverages
- Follows craft cocktail recipes and ensures consistency
- Inputs all orders into the POS system accurately
- Clear and reset tables
- Demonstrate an understanding of our steps of service
- Engage in communication and active listening to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates
- Willing and able to stay up to date on beverage trends, knowledge, and internal practices
- Perform opening and closing side work
- Responsible for monitoring, restocking, and replenishing bar par levels, inventory, and supplies
- Keep track of inventory to ensure both bar and tables are appropriately stocked
- Ensure work area complies with health codes at all times

You Should Have
- Prefer (2) or more years of bar experience in a high-volume fine or casual dining restaurant
- A valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certification are required and must be obtained before entering this position
- Proven knowledge and understanding of craft/creative cocktails and wine
PHYSICAL AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Must be able to stand or walk a minimum of eight hours.
- Must be observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations.
- Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend, climb and carry objects as necessary.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Must be able to work in a fast pace and high-volume environment in the presence of areas containing high noise levels ,bright lights and dust and communicate during this time – sometimes within a small area.
- Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes.
