Wednesday, March 11, from 2:00 PM � 6:00 PM, in our Orange Park office.

If you are an empathetic person and passionate about making a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities, come meet with us at our Walk-In Job Fair on March 11.

  • Location: NEEDS Center�s Administrative Office
  • Address: 360 Corporate Way, Orange Park
  • Date: Wednesday, March 11
  • Time: 2:00 PM � 6:00 PM
  • Hiring for: Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions
  • Schedules: Full-Time & Part-Time / Mostly 2nd shift / Overnights / Weekends
    • Currently there are no Monday � Friday 1st shift openings
  • Pay: $15.00 - $16.00/hr

*No appointment needed�but you must bring a resume with you*

Responsibilities for the job include:

  • Providing hands-on personal care to adults with developmental disabilities
  • Assisting and supporting individuals with autism in daily routines.
  • Implement clinical, educational and vocational programs.
  • Observe and record data for programs established in their Individual and Behavior support plans.
  • Participate with other team members to create a therapeutic environment that includes regular community membership.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent�REQUIRED
  • At least 1-year of experience working in a human services field
  • Empathy and a willingness to help adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Experience with behavior management preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team.

The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The NEEDS Center�s philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PSB). The services and supports provided by the NEEDS Center draw on the best of both disciplines in order to assist individuals to become as independent as they can be.

NEEDS Center requires screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse Education and Awareness website (info.flclearinghouse.com) for all prospective employees
