SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Detailer to join our team. In this key role, you will support shop operations by inspecting, cleaning, and preparing repaired vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring a flawless finish and excellent customer experience. You will also assist with shop maintenance, helping to keep the facility organized, clean, and running smoothly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles before final delivery to the customer.
Visually inspect repaired areas for quality, promptly notifying the General Manager or assigned technician of any defects.
Assist with general maintenance of the shop facility and outside grounds.
Ensure products and repairs meet established quality and safety standards.
Verify that test equipment is properly calibrated and in working condition as needed.
Consistently use required safety equipment, follow hazardous waste disposal requirements, and participate in monthly safety meetings.
Maintain proper function of service tools and equipment in the detail department; keep work area organized and return tools/materials to designated locations.
Identify opportunities for improving quality control processes.
Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash daily. Maintain restroom supplies and cleanliness.
Complete minor repairs when needed (e.g., changing light bulbs).
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver�s License with a good driving record.
Prior automotive industry experience preferred but not required.
Strong verbal communication and mechanical skills.
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility in task assignments and willingness to support the needs of the operations team.
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
