SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Detailer to join our team. In this key role, you will support shop operations by inspecting, cleaning, and preparing repaired vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring a flawless finish and excellent customer experience. You will also assist with shop maintenance, helping to keep the facility organized, clean, and running smoothly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform thorough detailing and cleaning of all vehicles before final delivery to the customer.

• Visually inspect repaired areas for quality, promptly notifying the General Manager or assigned technician of any defects.

• Assist with general maintenance of the shop facility and outside grounds.

• Ensure products and repairs meet established quality and safety standards.

• Verify that test equipment is properly calibrated and in working condition as needed.

• Consistently use required safety equipment, follow hazardous waste disposal requirements, and participate in monthly safety meetings.

• Maintain proper function of service tools and equipment in the detail department; keep work area organized and return tools/materials to designated locations.

• Identify opportunities for improving quality control processes.

• Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash daily. Maintain restroom supplies and cleanliness.

• Complete minor repairs when needed (e.g., changing light bulbs).

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Valid Driver�s License with a good driving record.

• Prior automotive industry experience preferred but not required.

• Strong verbal communication and mechanical skills.

• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility in task assignments and willingness to support the needs of the operations team.

• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
