The Feed Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of feed to customers while supporting feed mill and grain operations as needed. This position plays a key role in customer service and daily operations and helps ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.





Essential Duties and Responsibilities



Feed Delivery & Customer Service




  • Safely deliver bulk, bagged, or liquid feed to farms and customers

  • Load and unload product accurately and efficiently

  • Provide courteous, professional service to customers and represent the cooperative positively

  • Communicate delivery issues, delays, or customer concerns to management promptly



Operations Support




  • Assist with mixing, grinding, bagging, and load‑out of feed as needed

  • Prepare and review delivery tickets and paperwork for accuracy

  • Coordinate delivery schedules with feed mill staff to meet daily objectives

  • Assist with grain handling or other location duties as assigned



Vehicle, Equipment & Maintenance




  • Operate delivery trucks and equipment safely and legally

  • Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections

  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly

  • Assist with basic preventive maintenance and housekeeping of trucks, mill, and yard



Safety, Quality & Compliance




  • Follow all company, OSHA, DOT, DATCP, and other regulatory requirements

  • Maintain accurate records related to deliveries and feed handling

  • Wear required PPE and follow all safety policies and procedures

  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces that meet inspection standards
