Slocum Orthopedics is seeking a board-eligible orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in total joint surgery to join our physician-owned practice in Eugene, OR.  Slocum Orthopedics is a longstanding single-specialty 26 doctor orthopedic group, and this position has partnership potential.  High volume practice to include primary and revision total hip and knee arthroplasty.  

Slocum Orthopedics is the region's premier provider of progressive orthopedic care.  Slocum's physicians work in a collaborative environment with on-site support and mentorship for new physicians.  The Slocum Center is located in the heart of Eugene, with an on-site dedicated Therapy clinic, physician owned DME and MRI, and surgery center.  The two regional hospitals are less than 10 minutes away.  PeaceHealth Riverbend hospital is a Level 2 trauma center.

Summary

Slocum Orthopedics has a 4-room outpatient surgery center, hand therapy, CT, and MRI all in-house in our state facility.  In addition, a new 8 OR ASC is being built with a completion date of May 2027.   There are clinical research opportunities with the Slocum Research and Education Foundation and the University of Oregon.
