The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, guest traffic, and revenue growth across all channels, with a strong emphasis on catering sales. This role leads marketing strategy, local store marketing, digital campaigns, and catering promotions, while partnering with operations to deliver measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Growth
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive traffic, sales, and brand awareness.
- Manage brand positioning, messaging, and consistency across all channels.
- Plan and execute regional, and local store marketing initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Catering Marketing & Sales
- Develop and lead catering marketing strategies to grow catering revenue and market share.
- Partner with operations to build scalable catering programs and sales processes.
- Create targeted campaigns to drive event, and group catering orders.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and local outreach strategies.
- Track catering KPIs (sales growth, conversion rates, repeat business) and optimize performance.
Digital & Performance Marketing
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email, SMS, SEO/SEM, and online ordering platforms.
- Manage paid media campaigns and optimize ROI across channels.
- Leverage CRM and loyalty programs to drive guest engagement and retention.
Local Store Marketing (LSM)
- Develop tools and programs for restaurant-level marketing execution.
- Support grand openings, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
- Ensure alignment between corporate strategy and local execution.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team and external partners/agencies.
- Collaborate with operations, training, and leadership teams to align marketing with execution.
- Present performance results, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.
Analytics & Reporting
- Establish and track KPIs for marketing and catering performance.
- Use data and analytics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
