About 2nd Star Tavern

2nd Star Tavern is a place where people of all ages come to enjoy good eats, cold drinks, support local sports teams and spend time with their peers in a welcoming environment. You’ll feel at home as soon as you walk in.

Partnership & Hiring Note: 2nd Star Tavern is a partner restaurant of Fabio Viviani Hospitality Group. While we collaborate closely with the FVH team, all open positions are hired directly by 2nd Star Tavern.

We are looking to hire a Busser.

Duties: 

  • Provide quality, and genuine, hospitality in a timely manner
  • Ensure that guest’s feel important and welcome in the restaurant
  • Deliver food to the appropriate table, announcing each dish. Other specific duties are as follows:
    • Pre-bus and clean tables
    • Assist servers and bartenders with service as needed
    • Stock server stations and the bar as needed
  • Ability to transition between runner and busser duties based upon service needs and/or guest needs
  • Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Energetic and genuine positive attitude while interacting with team-members and all guests
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

Requirements:

  • Passion for food and ensuring an excellent dining experience for all guests
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions
  • Ability to pay attention to details
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 30+ pounds
