Discover the World is a leading sales representation company in the travel industry, managing a portfolio of more than 120 brands across travel technology, cruise, hospitality, car rental, tourist boards, and commercial partnerships. As part of our commercial team, you'll represent multiple client portfolios simultaneously, acting as a strategic extension of the brands we support. This is a high-visibility role for someone ready to build a career in travel sales.
We're looking for a motivated and coachable Sales Executive to join our team. This is an ideal role for someone with foundational sales or travel industry experience who is ready to step into a dynamic, client-facing environment and grow quickly. You'll manage relationships across a diverse book of business, drive revenue through consultative selling, and work alongside experienced leaders who are invested in your development.
Job requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or travel industry roles (travel agency, tourism, hospitality, or related fields preferred).
- A hunter mentality you're motivated by targets, comfortable with outreach, and energized by new business opportunities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Analytical curiosity you're comfortable working with data and using it to guide decisions and measure results.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce is a plus) and goal-setting frameworks (OKRs/KPIs).
- High levels of organization and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive, forward-thinking mindset with strong business acumen and a commitment to ethical, professional standards.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred but not required.
Job responsibilities
- Make outbound sales calls and emails daily to travel agency partners, introducing our clients' products and building your book of business.
- Follow up consistently with existing contacts to maintain relationships, share updates, and uncover new selling opportunities.
- Support our clients' sales goals by promoting their products and helping agency partners understand how to sell them.
- Keep your pipeline organized in Salesforce logging calls, tracking follow-ups, and staying on top of your accounts.
- Work alongside our marketing and support teams to deliver campaigns and promotions to the right partners at the right time.
- Learn to read performance data and weekly reports to understand what's working and where to focus your energy.
- Bring a genuine hunter mentality, you're not waiting for leads to come to you, you're picking up the phone and making things happen.
- Participate in regular coaching sessions with your manager to sharpen your sales skills and grow your industry knowledge fast.
