The 3rd Year Program Coordinator, with the leadership and support of the Director, will lead and assist the 1st & 2nd year Program Coordinators in facilitating all aspects of the Agape mission. This position is intentionally a combination of employment and long-term service with unique formation and leadership experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work to accomplish the program mission and goals
- Create a spiritually-focused and service-centered environment and experience
- Build relationships while working with the farmworker families, fellow staff, youth, and adult leaders
- Teach, lead, assist, and coach the 1st & 2nd year Program Coordinators
- Engage in self-reflection and growth in areas such as missionary discipleship, servant leadership, solidarity, and being an agent for social justice
- Creatively problem solve to make program decisions and improvements
- Plan and implement the service & formation experience for parish and school groups including reflections, prayers, activities, & service projects
- Organize and operate the social services of Agape including Agape Food Bank (help manage inventory & tracking documents, asses needs of clients & propose improvements, manage volunteers & group leaders, etc.), mobile food distribution, summer activities for children
- Help with logistical operations (shop for supplies, create documents, manage social media, assist cook if needed, etc.)
