The Opportunity

As our Preconstruction / Estimating Manager, you will lead one of the most critical functions in the organization. From early concept through owner partnership, you’ll guide the direction, accuracy, and strategic positioning of every pursuit.

You’ll have visibility with executive leadership, direct influence on project selection, and the ability to build and mentor a high-performing preconstruction team.

This role offers clear runway for continued leadership growth within a stable, expanding organization.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead estimating efforts across diverse commercial projects

  • Develop strategic cost models and guide early design collaboration

  • Partner closely with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams

  • Manage, mentor, and develop preconstruction talent

  • Oversee workload management, quality control, and deliverables

  • Champion Lean practices, VDC integration, and continuous improvement

  • Play a key leadership role in RFP strategy and client presentations

You won’t just price work — you’ll help shape which projects we pursue and how we win them.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of preconstruction or estimating experience

  • 5+ years of leadership experience developing teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field

  • Strong command of modern estimating tools and construction technology

  • Proven ability to balance precision with strategic thinking

  • A collaborative leadership style with a high standard for excellence
