Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and quality food preparation

  • Supervise, train, and develop kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef in creating and developing new menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local products

  • Assist with managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and surrounding areas, ensuring all food preparation areas meet the highest standards of hygiene

  • Troubleshoot any culinary issues that arise during service, ensuring quick resolutions while maintaining quality and consistency

  • Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction during service

  • Help manage kitchen staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and maintain effective workflow

  • Adhere to all health, safety, and food quality regulations in the kitchen
