Responsibilities:
Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth service and quality food preparation
Supervise, train, and develop kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
Collaborate with the Executive Chef in creating and developing new menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local products
Assist with managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and rotating stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and surrounding areas, ensuring all food preparation areas meet the highest standards of hygiene
Troubleshoot any culinary issues that arise during service, ensuring quick resolutions while maintaining quality and consistency
Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction during service
Help manage kitchen staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and maintain effective workflow
Adhere to all health, safety, and food quality regulations in the kitchen
