We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Sales Executive to drive revenue growth and strengthen relationships within the travel trade. This remote role will focus on both expanding existing accounts and developing new business using a consultative sales approach.


As a key contributor to Discover the World’s commercial success, you will engage with travel agencies and industry partners to promote our global portfolio of travel brands. You’ll work closely with internal teams and clients to deliver strategic solutions that generate measurable results and long-term partnerships.


In this role, you will focus on both expanding existing accounts and developing new business using a consultative sales approach. As a key contributor to Discover the World’s commercial success, you will engage with travel agencies and industry partners to promote our global portfolio of travel brands. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and clients to deliver strategic solutions that generate measurable results and foster long‑term partnerships.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience in travel industry sales, with established contacts in the travel trade. 
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling, account management, and business development. 
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable plans. 
  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools. 
  • Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and high ethical standards. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events (10–20% expected). 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred. 

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue from existing accounts and acquire new travel trade clients.
  • Conduct in-person, virtual, and phone-based sales meetings to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Collaborate with clients on joint sales calls and promotional initiatives to drive engagement and sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Partner with marketing to support campaigns and increase brand visibility.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Provide market intelligence and insights to inform business strategy and client recommendations.
  • Participate in weekly team calls and periodic client meetings to align on goals and performance.
  • Work cross-functionally with inside sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and business growth.
