SUMMARY

The Research &amp; Development Engineer Apprentice supports engineering and testing activities while developing the technical skills required to progress into a full R&amp;D Engineer role. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role is designed for individuals who are self-motivated, solution-oriented, and eager to grow their skillset in a hands-on aerospace environment. The Apprentice will work closely with engineers and technicians to support prototype development, testing, and process improvement while building proficiency in engineering concepts and problem-solving techniques, with a clear path to advancement.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

SUMMARY

The Research &amp; Development Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and improvement of aerospace components, processes, and technologies. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role applies advanced engineering principles, materials knowledge, and scientific methods across multiple projects. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving capability, and the ability to independently drive projects while supporting broader engineering objectives.
