Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck &amp; rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
<ul>
<li>Plan, develop and integrate electronic vehicle commissioning concepts for underlying cross-functional technologies e.g. Software flashing, ECU configuration, Immobilizer systems, secured vehicle diagnostic functions.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ensure the end-to-end functionality including in-vehicle technologies and necessary backend systems.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Lead and coordinate commissioning, planning project concept scope, timeline constraints in pre-series and series phase.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Representative for production concept changes within project teams.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Monitor and track technical changes for central vehicle diagnostics, security, and architectures throughout the development and launch process.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Coordinate the integration for commissioning concepts for process planning into the production.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Evaluate and enhance vehicle commissioning concepts that produce exceptional quality, reduce cost, and improve production cycle time.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Develop and coordinate commissioning documents using IT systems in production.</li>

Location &amp; Travel Expectations:
<ul>
<li>This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Blythewood, South Carolina.&nbsp;</li>
<li>This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office, with regular in-person meetings and events.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company&nbsp;from time to time.</li>

<li>Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology,&nbsp;electrical&nbsp;engineering or computer science&nbsp;or equivalent field.&nbsp;Master’s&nbsp;degree is a plus.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Minimum&nbsp;4&nbsp;years&nbsp;professional experience with&nbsp;expertise&nbsp;in automotive&nbsp;development,&nbsp;manufacturing engineering, production&nbsp;planning.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Proficiency&nbsp;in advanced programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java or similar&nbsp;</li>
<li>Knowledge&nbsp;of vehicle engineering processes and&nbsp;understanding of manufacturing processes.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Demonstrated&nbsp;ability to set direction and guide the team towards it.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability in creative and strategic problem-solving, with&nbsp;experience&nbsp;troubleshooting vehicle systems.&nbsp;</li>

<h4>Pay Transparency</h4>

Initial Base Salary Range: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00

<li>Realize development, implementation and optimization of manufacturing technology for production of new and existing Schaeffler products.</li>
<li>Initiate, drive, and coordinate the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing technologies for new and existing products by using statistical measures in terms of quality, efficiency, sustainability, and robustness.</li>
<li>Conduct process investigation to fine-tune equipment and process set-up considering product, material, tooling, and location.</li>
<li>Review new technology launches regarding product design/material feasibility, impact on cycle time, tool definition, and quality.</li>
<li>Support production to identify and solve production issues sustainably and initiate and conduct troubleshooting based on production data using statistical and digital measures.</li>
<li>Create required manufacturing process documentation including equipment/technology release documents and set-up instructions.</li>
<li>Apply commonly defined process and equipment standards and consider international and regionally defined manufacturing technology-related norms.</li>
<li>Develop and negotiate equipment and tool specifications with potential suppliers from the standard supplier portfolio including timing and investment, and specify validation requirements and validate production equipment, manufacturing technologies, and related tools.</li>
<li>Cooperate closely with Schaeffler Operations manufacturing technology networks, division, business division, and business unit manufacturing technology groups, and within the region while maintaining close collaboration with other central functions like Purchasing, IT, Maintenance, and Quality.</li>
