Overview:
<p style="margin: 0px;">The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing job plans for the Maintenance Department.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;">Essential functions of the job include reviewing and prioritizing work orders, preparing Technician schedules, and utilizing CMMS and JDE systems to review and prioritize, assign, and close maintenance work orders.</p><p style="margin: 0px;"> </p><p style="margin: 0px;">The Planner will also supervise and coordinate priorities for purchasing parts, the work order process, and parts storage practices.</p>

Responsibilities:
<ul><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Review work requests and work orders for priority and update work orders to appropriate status</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Determine job scoping requirements and either scope job or obtain scoping from qualified trades</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Build new PM’s and add to the CMMS system</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Develop work procedures for maintenance jobs with necessary information, including skills, tasks, parts, tools, auxiliary equipment, contractors, and estimated time required</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Determine required parts/materials on each work order; verify parts/materials are available and provide details to MRO buyer to acquire parts/materials as necessary</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Supervise weekend work activities when needed, be a trainer on the CMMS, support the parts room supervisor and Parts Clerks.</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Ensure all resources are purchased, entered in to inventory, and allocated through the work order process.</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Coordinate with the Parts Clerks to determine required parts/materials for all stock items. projects and verify parts/materials are available and assist in assembling kits for technicians.</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Coordinate with MRO buyer to identify material requirements, generate purchase orders and required delivery dates</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Create and maintain standard task list for PMS and frequent jobs</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Generate a complete 28-day draft schedule (2 week fixed, remaining 2 weeks tentative) and review with Operations to ensure available trades hours and asset availability</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Work with Operations and production scheduling to coordinate maintenance shutdown schedule with the production schedule</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Work with accounting to give asset numbers to new and existing assets not currently in the CMMS system</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Work with trades supervisors to understand status of ongoing work, including delays and overruns</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Confirm material availability before scheduling jobs</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Arrange and schedule the necessary special support equipment (contractors, cranes, etc.)</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Backlog management including daily, weekly and monthly backlog reviews and purging aged work orders as required</li><li style="margin-left: .5in;">Confirm start dates for work orders based on priorities and production needs Additional job duties as requested daily and weekly.</li></ul>

Qualifications:
