We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.  As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software applications using Python, C#, C++, and Linux. This position works in a team environment at our home office in Newburgh, IN. This is not a remote position. 
This position reports to the Manger of Software Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities 
<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python, C#, C++, and Linux.</li><li>Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.</li><li>Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.</li><li>Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.</li><li>Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of innovation.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.</li></ul>
Qualifications &amp; Competencies

They focus on critical testing for radiation hardening, hardware-in-the-loop, and complex electronic systems to ensure mission success. You will be working onsite in a fast paced and dynamic environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential. SECRET to CLEARANCE Requirement: Interim Secret to start. Continued employment contingent upon favorable final Secret clearance.

Both systems represent a modernization effort aimed at protecting Marines from air threats, specifically unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), cruise missiles, and aircraft.
