Principal Cloud Engineers serve as thought leaders who collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to define best practices, promote platform reusability, and guide critical technical decisions. <div>Develop and enforce cloud governance models that align with security, compliance, and operational standards.</div>

<div>Partner with business stakeholders and product teams to ensure cloud solutions support long‑term strategic goals.</div>

<div>Mentor senior engineers and promote architectural excellence, ensuring teams balance agility with sustainability.</div>

<div>Participate in enterprise architecture reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across solutions.</div>

<div>Lead the architecture and design of enterprise-scale infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP, on-premises).</div>

<div>Promote adoption of cloud-native technologies including container orchestration, serverless computing, service meshes, and event-driven architectures.</div>

<div>Lead complex migration and transformation initiatives such as datacenter exits, cloud modernization, and cross-cloud integrations.</div>

<div>Guide investment in tools and platforms such as IaC pipelines, observability solutions, and platform engineering capabilities.</div>

<div>Operate cloud platforms by performing OS-level patching, enforcing security policies, and maintaining high availability through proactive monitoring and alerting.</div>

<div>Troubleshoot complex issues spanning infrastructure, networking, and application layers across multiple cloud platforms.</div>

<div>Cloud-Native Tools: Advanced experience with Kubernetes, service meshes, GitOps methodologies, and scalable CI/CD platforms.</div>

<div>Cross-Functional Influence: Ability to drive decisions across business, security, operations, and engineering functions.</div>

<div>Architecture &amp; Design: Proven experience designing large-scale, resilient multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure systems.</div>

<div>Cloud &amp; Infrastructure: Broad knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies—especially Azure—with additional experience in AWS and GCP preferred. Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems.</div>

<div>Automation &amp; DevOps: Hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps, scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash), configuration management tools (Puppet), and backup/disaster recovery tools (CommVault, Zerto).</div>
